Aquaculture Aeration
Efficient aeration is essential for healthy, productive aquaculture systems.
Our aeration solutions maintain optimal dissolved oxygen levels, improve water circulation, and support stable water quality for fish operations.
By reducing stress and enhancing feed efficiency, our systems help maximize growth, survival rates, and overall farm performance.
Designed for reliability and energy efficiency.
Our aquaculture aeration systems are suitable for ponds, tanks, and recirculating aquaculture systems in both freshwater and marine environments.
Why Do You Need Aeration?
Improves Water Quality
Reduces Odor
Reduces Nutrient Load
Creates Better Fish Habitats
Controls Mosquito Populations
Surface Aerators

High-performance surface aerators dramatically push high volumes of water into the air.
This process increases the overall health of your water and keeps it thoroughly mixed. Introducing oxygen and water movement breaks up stratification, eliminates odor, discourages algae growth, and promotes a healthy aquatic environment.
These self-contained units deliver up to 3.0 lbs of O2 per horsepower per hour of operation, making
Kasco surface aerators the most dependable, and efficient units on the market.
Surface Aerators are available as 1/2, 3/4, 1, 2, 3, and 5HP units.
- Proven performance for continuous, supplemental, or emergency use
- 1/2, 3/4, and 1HP sizes can easily be moved and installed by 1 person
- Power cord lengths available up to 500 ft.
- Power cords can be protected with a flex sleeve cord protector
- ETL Listed as complete package to UL and CSA safety standards
- 2-year warranty on 1/2, 3/4, and 1HP
- 3-year warranty on 2, 3HP, and 5HP
Diffused Aeration
Diffused aeration is a method of supplying oxygen to water by releasing compressed air through submerged diffusers that produce fine or coarse bubbles.
As the bubbles rise through the water column, oxygen is transferred from the air into the water while creating circulation and mixing.
This process increases dissolved oxygen levels, improves water movement, and helps prevent stratification and stagnant zones.
Diffused aeration is commonly used in aquaculture, wastewater treatment, ponds, lagoons, and reservoirs because it provides efficient oxygen transfer with low surface disturbance.
Diffused aeration systems typically consist of a blower or compressor, air piping, and diffusers installed at or near the bottom of the water body.
The size and type of diffuser determine bubble size, oxygen transfer efficiency, and mixing performance.
Aquatic Aeration Solutions has a variety of systems and diffusers suitable for different water body sizes and aeration requirements.
